The PMR Products Vigilant Alarm system is a high integrity personal and property protection system giving an early warning of attack to those in society who need the very best in protection.

The system is designed to provide the best performance and highest quality of service to potentially highly vulnerable persons or property under the care of Police protection. As lives are essentially at stake with these systems, all practical steps have been taken to provide multiple fall back paths and strategies to get that alarm signal through.

The use of these alarms gives back an element of personal freedom to vulnerable persons to carry on with normal life but with confidence that help will be at hand quickly and reliably if needed. A new lower grade and cost unit, the Protector is available employing similar techniques for levels of protection which may not be life threatening but still may require an urgent response from police or at a lower level of security wardens or private guards.

The radio alarm units (RBA) is supplied to provide a highly reliable platform where integrity of signals sent to and from the central management facility is paramount. Multiple communications devices can be provide giving multiple signalling methods to make sure that signal goes through Vigilant Alarms provide a number of options to tailor installations to a range of circumstances and are modular.

The basic alarm unit required will depend on application;

RBA - systems product

Highly ruggedised unit with full feature set. Intended for high security applications, fixed sites and telemetry applications. Supports wireless and hardwired sensors and provides outputs, sensor power supply, serial data facility, audio capability, Internal power supply.

Rapido - rapid deployment

Lightweight unit designed for ease of carrying to site with wireless sensors. Programmable from front panel, PC or PDA.

Protector

Low cost GSM/PSTN based unit with single push button wireless panic button and intercom facility.

The Vigilant Alarm products employ the very latest in wire free sensor technology from Inovonics allowing a rapid deployment with minimal wiring. A wide range of sensors available to handle a variety of applications from personal alarms, PIR's, door switches to smoke detectors.
