PMR Products are the acknowledged experts in the design and provision of Prison radio systems in the UK since 1995 when our SafetyNet radio system was first introduced. Since this time, SafetyNet has become the standard within the service with an installed base of 130 systems in England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.The design of the prison system has developed over a period of 14 years and has evolved into a highly reliable, powerful but simple to use communications system providing;

The powerful SafetyNet Management facilities, provides the radio operator with a host of functions which have been carefully developed to give the essential information and control of the communications equipment needed to run the establishment efficiently with the tool available to handle emergency situations. A clear concise set of controls on a standard windows type display are provided to give at a glance the information required.

PMR Products continue to develop the product and have recently introduced the SafetyNet Manager providing the very latest Windows Vista look and feel with even easier to use functions and a layout which provides all the information needed on a single screen.

The very latest technology is being introduced through SafetyNet Digital taking the Prison Service into the 21st Century with Digital technology based around the new Kenwood NEXEDGE digital radio scheme or a private TETRA solution aimed at larger schemes requiring integrated telephony and multiple channels with several active talkgroups.
