Cabot Circus, Bristol goes TETRA with SafetyNet Digital

Monday 2 February 2009

The prestigious shopping development in the centre of Bristol, Cabot Circus has been one of the first city centres in the UK to get the new SafetyNet Digital TETRA package incorporating Damm's TetraFlex base stations and the Motorola MTH800 hand portable terminal.

TETRA was chosen by the management at Cabot Circus as the best radio technology available for public safety applications. As a digital technology, TETRA compliments the strategy of Cabor Circus providing the best and most modern technology currently available. Although initially analogue trunk had been specified, the team at PMR Products was able to demonstrate a package offering higher functionality and performance at a price comparable with traditional MPT1327 technology.
